Sunset Beach Resort launched a project during December 2008 whereby they sponsored sweets packets for the children of the community. During this Christmas function the Management based at Sunset Beach Resort, represented the lodge and personally handed out the packets to the communities children.

Sunset Beach Lodge prides itself for being part of such projects and will endeavour to continue it's Community involvement on an ongoing basis with various projects throughout the Community of Chindenguele.
